Our familyFor my beautiful daughter, Alidia.
On the right hand side of this page is a list of names, which you can click on to find out what each of them had to say to you. More will be added over time. I hope one day you can read it and remember the love you felt from those who knew you, and look forward to one day getting to know those who haven't yet been lucky enough to meet you, instead of the hurt of the last 4 years.
There are some of what I will call your immediate family, because if we were still in touch, that is what they would be.
There is Mike, who is my husband now. We have been married just over a year. It must sound really odd to you. But he is lovely, and is very keen to meet you one day.
There is Holly, who is your step-sister. She has just turned in to a teenager! We had a party for her Birthday and the theme was The Oscars, so everybody got dressed up and after the dancing she gave out some Oscars style awards for the kids who made the biggest effort. She had a great time, but as with everything, she would have enjoyed it much more if she had her little sister there too.
Then there is Ewan. He is your half-brother. He is not even 5 months old yet. He can't write about himself, so I will write something, and so will Holly and Mike. He loves Holly to bits though, and I know he will love you just as much! We found out I was pregnant about a month after we got married, and the day after Hollys 12th Birthday, so it was like a Wedding present for us and a Birthday present for Holly at the same time. He was born in January this year, a little early, as I had some problems when I was pregnant, the same as I did when I was pregnant with you.
My surname is Dunlop-Jones now. I kept Dunlop so you'd always be able to find me if you decided to start looking, and Jones is Mike, Holly and Ewan's surname.
We live in Leicestershire, with a beautiful garden, paddocks and stables just beyond. There are lots of trees and wildlife. Moles keep digging up our lawn, and we saw a rabbit by the stream at the bottom of the garden the other morning.
We are hoping to find some suitable animals to go in the paddocks, but we want to rescue them rather than buy them, although our neighbours have some chickens eggs in an incubator at the moment and when they hatch we are going to have some hens to keep in our garden too!
We will maybe a pony, maybe goats or sheep. We did find two goats recently, but they came as a pair, and one of them had huge horns, and wasn't very friendly, so we decided it might be safer to wait and see if something else came along.
We already have 3 dogs. Sukie, Daisy and Poppy. Sukie is all sensible and grown up, Daisy is a bit dopey but very funny, and Poppy is lovely, but quite bouncy.
We made this picture on Mothers Day this year. It isn't complete yet, but I hope it will be one day soon. As you can see, it's our handprints. There is a special place for yours, waiting right there.

Here is a picture of Poppy (left) and Sukie (right) in the paddock at the end of our garden.

Here is a picture of Daisy. She is out of puff after running around after Poppy.

Here is a picture of Poppy at our old house. She's a poser!

Here is a picture of Sukie in the field. She doesn't run around much, because she thinks the other two are childish. She would rather have a cuppa and some cake!!
